Biathlon: Anastasiya Kuzmina is World Champion

Anastasiya Kuzmina has won the first single run of the World Championships in Östersund, Sweden. As native of Russia starting for Slovakia for years now she prevailed against Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold from Norway after 7.5 km sprint distance and secured her first single World Champion title of her career.

Winter sports: Nordic Ski WC bring numerous medals for Ski Associations

The Nordic Ski Championships in Seefeld, Austria, bring a lot of precious metal for the Skiing Associations; 6x gold (as for the team jump of the women from the large hill) and 3x silver for the DSV, 4x silver and 5x bronze for the OeSV as well as 1x gold and 1x silver for the PZN.

Tennis: Ivan Dodig wins in the doubles at the ATP tournament in Montpellier

The Croatian Ivan Dodig and the French Edouard Roger-Vasselin are the winner in the doubles of the this year´s ATP tournament in Montpellier. They prevailed over the french pair Benjamin Bonzi and Antoine Hoang with 6:4 and 6:3. For the 34-year old Ivan Dodig this is the 12th double title of his career.
