Athletics: Bronze for the German women at the Cross-EC

The German women team won bronze in the team score at the Cross-EC in Tilburg (Netherlands). Elena Burkhard and Fabienne Amrhein were the strongest runner in the team of the German Athletics Association (DLV).

Cycling: Six medals for the track cycling specialists of the BDR

At the Track Cycling World Cup in Berlin the German athletes of the German Cyclists Federation (BDR) credited themselves with six medals: Gold for Joachim Eilers in 1000m time trial, three silver in the team sprint, for Miriam Welte in 500m time trial and for Emma Hinze in Keirin and one bronze in team sprint and in Madison.

Cycling: Medal weep for the BDR at the UCI World Championships

5 World Champions, 4 silver and 1 bronze medal for the cycle ball and artistic cycling athletes was the sensational yield for the German Cycling Association (BDR) ath the UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships in Liège, Belgium.
