The German U20 Ice Hockey National Team managed the rise into the Top Division with the tournament victory of the 2019 IIHF U20 Ice Hockey World Cup.


Winter sports: Skiing Federations book more top performances

Katharina Althaus (DSV) wins at the Ski jumping World Cup in Premanon (France). In the same discipline at the World Cup in Engelberg (Switzerland) Piotr Zyla und Kamil Stoch ensured the 2nd und 3rd place (both PZN). At the Giant Slalom Marcel Hirscher (OeSV) was not to beat again, he wins the World Cup in Alta Badia (Italy)....

... At the Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria) the DSV booked some successes: Arnd Pfeiffer secured the 2nd place in the Pursuit. Benedikt Doll gained the 3rd place in Sprint and the team (Johannes Kühn, Simon Schempp, Arnd Pfeiffer, Benedkit Doll) is pleased with the 3rd place in the Team Relay.

Athletics: Bronze for the German women at the Cross-EC

The German women team won bronze in the team score at the Cross-EC in Tilburg (Netherlands). Elena Burkhard and Fabienne Amrhein were the strongest runner in the team of the German Athletics Association (DLV).
