PM-International recently celebrated another milestone in its international expansion: the Grand Opening of its newest subsidiary in Sofia, Bulgaria. The subsidiary is responsible for administration and logistics in Bulgaria with the aim of supporting the company’s further growth in the newly opened market.

The Grand Opening was attended by over 1,000 PM-International local distribution partners. “We are very pleased that PM-International is now officially represented in Bulgaria with our new subsidiary in Sofia. We see that this location offers great potential to reach more than 140 million people due to its place in the heart of the Balkan states,” says Guido Buch, General Manager Sales Eastern Europe and Middle East. PM-International has invested in new premises comprising 300 m2 of office space and approx. 180 m2 of warehouse space and has initially created five new jobs in the region.

Direct sales is also becoming increasingly popular in Bulgaria. “In 2023, our turnover more than doubled in this market compared to the previous year. We are seeing great demand for both our products and our business model,” continues Buch.

With the Grand Opening, the company is creating the basis for broad expansion not only in Bulgaria, but throughout the Balkans: “PM-International provides the infrastructure from the dispatch of goods to the payment of bonuses to the distribution partners. In this way, we create the basis for our distribution partners to be able to fully concentrate on advising their customers personally and selling FitLine products. Our Bulgarian distribution partners have done an excellent job over the past few months. They are highly motivated and their goals are set,” says Polina Al-Bitar, Office Manager at PM-International Bulgaria.

The new subsidiary offers PM-International’s Bulgarian distribution partners a direct local contact with the customer support. They can also use the premises for training courses and their own presentations.
