Kick-OFF Europe 2022: Another record year for the PM-International Group

Published: 17/01/2022

Closing the business year 2021, PM-International AG reached the second billion in sales for the first time. Europe’s largest network marketing company increased the annual revenue of the PM-International Group by over 35% compared to 2020 to $2.35 billion. PM-International presented its business results at its Kick-OFF Europe last weekend.

CEO & Founder of PM-International Rolf Sorg

The company’s traditional start of the year took place as a hybrid event on site in Luxembourg and online on PM TV with over 40,000 distribution partners from all over Europe. CEO & Founder Rolf Sorg made the beginning on stage. Always with a firm focus on the future of his company, he also gave an overview of the innovations that are coming up at PM-International 2022.

Global market potential

PM-International relies on a niche strategy and thus, already became the European market leader in its industry. For Rolf Sorg, this is just the beginning: “It took us 26 years to break the billion mark and two years later we exceeded the second billion. This year, we are on course for the third billion. My goal is that we celebrate it together at our 30th anniversary in 2023.” In Germany, the founding country, the company also registered a record growth of more than 35% in 2021 compared to the previous year. It owes its success primarily to the many independent distribution partners who are active in more than 40 countries around the world. Rolf Sorg personally thanked them for their efforts, especially last year: “Thank you for your constant commitment! I am proud to work with you to improve the life quality of millions of customers and the life standard of hundreds of thousands of people around the world!”

In 2021, PM-International exceeded $2 billion in sales

Since PM-International had already relied heavily on digitization long before 2019, distribution partners have been able to work completely online in recent years, if necessary. At the Kick-OFF, the company presented the latest digital tools for its distribution partners, including an optimization of its own TV channel PM TV.

“What our distribution partners appreciate about PM-International is that we offer a unique opportunity for people to make a free-will decision for self-employment with no risk, freedom to choose your work time, and the ability to have a lot of fun creating extra income,” summarizes Rolf Sorg.

In his speech, he emphasized the values of PM-International: “As a family business, we are working for several generations. Therefore, we will continue to focus on sustainable growth instead of short-term profit maximization. This also allows us to share our success with people all over the world.”

With its charity foundation PM We Care, in cooperation with the children’s aid organization World Vision, PM-International has been committed to helping children all over the world for almost 20 years. With the successful annual result for 2021, another 1,000 sponsored children were added, reports Charity Ambassador Vicki Sorg: “Through the sale of FitLine products, more than 4,000 sponsored children, their families and communities worldwide are currently supported by PM We Care. The local solutions reach several hundred thousand people and help them to actively shape their future. In the long term, we have set ourselves the goal of increasing the number of child sponsorships to 12,000.”

Worldwide expansion

PM-International will continue to expand in 2022. After the company opened new offices in the UK in the summer of 2021, nine more are planned for 2022, including China, Indonesia, Hungary, Portugal and Colombia. Expansion on the African continent is also imminent.

The whole event was live-streamed to PM-International’s on TV channel PM TV

In addition, the construction of the second administration building at the International Headquarters in Luxembourg will start in 2022. The next investment into Germany, the founding country, is also just around the corner: “With the expansion of the Headquarter Europe in Speyer by a third administration building, we are creating even more jobs in the region,” said Patrick Bacher, PM-International’s Chief Sales Officer. The company is also investing in the expansion of infrastructure on the American continent with two new branches in the North and West of the USA.

World-class athletes up close

Three elite athletes were also on the Kick-OFF stage and gave exciting insights in a live sports talk with Sports Marketing Director Torsten Weber. They surprised the live participants of the event with an autograph session afterwards. Extreme athletes Achim Heukemes – World Champion 10x Ironman Masters and World Champion Duathlon Masters, Beat Hefti – Gold Medal Winner in two-man Bobsleigh at the 2014 Winter Games and Stanislav Horuna – Bronze Medal Winner in Karate at the 2020 Summer Games talked about their results.

More than 1,000 top athletes from over 60 disciplines and 30 nations trust in FitLine and the brand is the official supplier of numerous sports associations and national teams.

The enthusiasm in the venue left no doubt about it: The PM-International distribution partners are highly motivated. Next up are the hybrid Kick-OFF events for the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region. “We are taking our future into our own hands and plan decisive steps for our further success in 2022,” reports Rolf Sorg. Going hand in hand with this, he unveiled this year’s sales motto of his company – “Own Your Future”.

Patrick Bacher concluded the event: “We have made 2021 the most successful financial year in our history. Now we have to implement our motivation and plans for 2022 in order to set the course for an even more successful financial year!”
